About the fabric
What fabric does LAMAN use?
100% combed Indian cotton. No polyester, no blends, no synthetic coating. Every weight is governed by our open fabric standard (LAMAN-SPEC-001) published at /proof.
What is GSM and why does it matter?
GSM stands for grams per square metre — it is a direct measure of fabric density. A higher GSM means a heavier, more structured fabric. We offer 180 GSM (247), 210 GSM (Relentless) and 320 GSM (Heavy). We publish it because most brands do not.
Why no polyester?
Polyester is a petroleum-derived plastic. In Indian heat it holds sweat against the skin, builds static and sheds microplastic fibres when washed. Cotton absorbs, breathes and biodegrades. More detail at /cotton-101.
How are the fabrics verified?
We operate under our published technical specification (LAMAN-SPEC-001) with strict ISO/ASTM acceptance targets. We refuse to display fake lab certificates; signed third-party testing portal records are audited directly at /proof.
Sizing and fit
Which size should I choose?
Use the measurement tables at /size-guide. Each weight has its own table because the fit names differ: 247 is Boxy, Relentless is Tempered, Heavy is Tailored. If you are between sizes, size up.
What does Boxy / Tempered / Tailored mean?
Boxy is wide across the chest, slightly cropped. Tempered is relaxed without being oversized. Tailored is close-cut — the weight of the fabric provides structure without elastic or padding.

Do you ship across India?
Yes. We cover 26,000+ pincodes across India. Free shipping on orders above ₹1,599.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours of being placed. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location. Full details at /shipping.
Do you ship internationally?

Returns and exchanges
Can I return a product?
Yes, within 14 working days of placing your order. Items must be unworn, with tags, in original packaging. Email stores.laman@gmail.com with your order number to start a return.
Are sale items returnable?
No. Sale and promotional items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Who pays for return shipping?
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We are not liable for items lost in transit — use recorded delivery.
Care and washing
How should I wash LAMAN garments?
Cold machine wash (30°C or below). Do not tumble dry — air dry flat to preserve shape, especially for the 320 GSM Heavy. Full care guide at /care-guide.
Will the fabric shrink?
Our cotton is pre-washed and combed to reduce shrinkage. Washing in cold water and air drying flat will keep shrinkage minimal.
